I have to write a paper on issue. Anyone got an idea. Something like abortions, gay marriage. It has to be unique and not cliche though. Help would be great!

The legalization of marijuana certainly could use all the attention it can get.

Issues that involve things like religious influences on either side of the argument like abortion or gay marriage end up being very bland since religion cannot be debated sanely.

.....Don't know if you have chosen your subject material or completed your paper yet. But I think an interesting subject would be the continuing erosion, of the middle class in the United States. There seems to be a concentrated effort towards creating a two class system, the rich and the poor. Good luck. Cheers.
