Gay Marriage

RE: Gay Marriage
...What is it that gay marriages can do to hetrosexual marriages, that they have not already done to themselves? Over 50% of hetrosexual marriages end in divorce, having nothing to do with gay marriages. It is so bizarre, that people try to make the argument that somehow, the institution of marriage will be destroyed, if gay marriages are allowed. How? Will it pull men away from the women they have married and cause them to be with other men, or the opposite with women? How is that possible, if they are attracted to women and their sexuality is that of a male being with a female? I find it very strange thinking and hard to understand the rationality. I think that I would like to know the real reason for the opposition.

RE: Gay Marriage
I'm not against it. I personally believe it's got nothing to do with anyone except the people in question for the marriage. People should be able to live their lives how they want to without having people dig in and cause trouble.

RE: Gay Marriage
I don't have anything against gay marriage because there's nothing wrong with it. It's not offensive nor immoral. Homosexuals and bisexuals have equal rights as heterosexuals. They are not less human than us. They also have feelings and emotions - the need to love and be happy with their life.

Religious institutions are the only ones making a big fuss over this.

Pardon me, but I think it is immoral for the same gender to have a relationship with each other. Where will the relationship go anyway? They can't have kids who'll take care of them when they get old. And most men still resorts to marrying a woman even if he had been in a relationship with a gay. I believe that same sex relationships wouldn't last long so, what for?

They can adopt and make a family just as easily as an infertile couple. If you don't see any reason not to, but you don't see any reason why they should, then you really should allow it for other people's benefit.

RE: Gay Marriage
I'm gay and prohibiting me from marrying someone of the same sex is not going to force me to marry someone of the opposite sex. I'm not even looking to get married at this point in my life, I'm more concerned about legalization purely for the sake of those who do, and to be treated equally and have the same opportunities afforded to me as heterosexuals.
