If you're talking about the new one (re make) then it sucks. The original karate kid movies are the best. Nothing will beat them.

The movie was awsome!

The only thing was that the bigging didnt give you alot of background.

Yeah the new one wasn't even about karate all it was was a scene for scene remake of the original. Hell there wasn't even a "wax on, wax off" bit.
The original got me into karate 10 years ago, been doing it ever since.

The remake annoyed me. But it wasn't that bad, I'd probably give it a 6.5/10, while the original gets an 8.5/10.

Good movie =]. Young Jaden smith will soon surpass his dad haha. He even quoted once that he would like to be more succesful and buy everything of what his dad owns =P
