Yeah, I love subdomains from freedns..They are good, and I love the us.to, it sounds like TLD, however it only a subdomain..:D
I have 3 with that subdomains...:)

according to all of you, what is the best free domain?
I've tried several, the best is .co.cc (but this is subdomain, alright?)

is there any free domain other than. tk and .free ?
because .free still pre-registration
and .tk have issue
