hey guys....there are some online rpg games (MS-Dos console) that are run on a server. To play you just have to telnet to the server.
if you dont know what telnet is then google it, otherwise its an easy tool to use. You can use telnet to connect to any computer in the world(YES), however, on a specific port.

syntax is telnet [ip-address or website] [port]

here's an example In this example i will connect to Hotmail mail server to read my email.

Hotmail incoming mail server is smtp.live.com and port 587.so

telnet smtp.live.com 587...try it

emmm,i like MUD very much,but my English is poor,I often played Chinese MUD before.But almost all the Chinese mud server had been closed because of the few people and the price to rent the server.
