I don't think so. I have an iPhone web app I use all the time (it's a forum where I review apps at and have tons of fun) and I home screen bookmarked it and placed it on my dock. Awesome.

Mine doesn't have a background but just the logo without any edits to it.

Ohhh okay, because the blue background would make it a little difficult to read as a favicon so that's good.

yeah, the blue i used wasn't the color of this background, because it was too dark but it could be a bit lighter.. meh
