Favorite game from childhood?
What were your favourite computer or console games in your childhood?
About 15 years ago when I was a kid I used to play NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) games.
I didn't have many games but of those my favourite was Super Mario Bros 3. I also enjoyed playing Ikari Warriors though I never finished the game as one of the bosses was pretty difficult for a kid.
Got to play some Amiga games too, James Pond: Codename Robocod rocked, especially the graphics. ;)

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker has to be my favorite childhood game. It had an amazing story, and even though it is a decade old, I still play it today.

Age of Empires II is one of the few things that passed the test of time. It's a strategy, RTS game, and it's my first. It still has the appeal it had years ago. Ah, good times.

During my childhood I was playing SimCity 2000 and The Sims 1. :) I had a kinda crappy computer during my childhood (Oh, why do I always have crappy computers... *sobs*), so SimCity 2000, with its relatively low hardware requirement and attractive design (in that era), becomes my favorite, whereas The Sims just took far longer time to load and did not work smoothly. Oh, I still remember the days when I got distracted on the boring classes to think about how to design an effective transportation system.

I also favor some DOS games during the early years, including Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, and sometimes Super Mario. But surely I'm a big strategy/simulation game fan.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

I played both Mario Kart 64 and Unreal Tournament a ton when I was younger. I think I appreciate Unreal Tournament more though because it introduced me to the concept of a gaming community and brotherhood in the form of clans. It also sparked my love for custom maps and content as that game has some of the best in PC gaming even today. Some of my oldest friends I met playing that game.

We used to have the good old Nintendo ES. What I loved to play then was Doctor Mario and Duck Hunt.

Doctor Mario was like Tetris, but with a twist. You have to kill the viruses based on their colors. And the colors of the capsules should match the viruses' so they would disappear in the bottle.

I love firing at the ducks in the Duck Hunt game. And how the naughty dog laughed when the player failed to finish the level. He was indeed adorable.

I dunno... so many games I played. Super Mario Bros 3, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Metal Gear Solid, Onimusha, Devil May Cry... those are some of my faves which I played when I was still a kid... some I played before I even understood English, so I don't remember the plot at all!

Omg I totally forgot about the Duck Hunt game. I really enjoyed playing that game. My favorite childhood game was super mario bros too! My brother and I used to play that game all the time.

I've played Super Mario games countless times and I started playing it since I was 3. I also think that many gamers out there played Mario on their younger years since Mario was a famous game title which was developed years before I was even born. Mario can already be classified as a living legend in the gaming industry.
