Using mplayer all the time. (Sometimes gnome-mplayer.)
The bad part is the video playback (not really for audios) in mplayer on my Gentoo is somehow ridiculously CPU-intensive and often causes my computer to stop responding. Possibly because I'm using nouveau instead of the official (crappy) NVidia graphic card driver for Linux. Anyway, I rarely listen to any music. On Windows, I uses KMPlayer. (Well, maybe because its name is very similar to mplayer. :D)
