If you're in college, just go to your college book store and pick up the Adobe suite. It's dirt cheap to students. If you're not a student currently, ask someone whom you know who is a student to get it for you. I got it for like $20 when I was in college.
There are some other freeware editors out there as well such as Paint.net. But they aren't as robust. I also heard of a vector based image editing tool that's free as well called Inkscape. |
