I never use installers for wordpress blogs. I do a lot of Internet Marketing with wordpress blogs. Everytime I install them, I just download it - then uploading it using FTP and visit your site to install it.
Just make sure you download it from Wordpress official site. I got mine with themes already built in, and SEO plugins already installed and I ran into an undesirable issue just an hour ago. Ha! I guess it's safe to say to always download it from the original source and ignore those who provide scripts built-in. Full of PHP backdoors. Sucks because I actually trusted people on WarriorForum until now. Oh well. I scanned everything and removed the backdoor shells. All good now! Best of luck to you! |
