What's your stand on contraceptives?

I agree with you, contraceptive are there to help out couples and well, people in general by preventing pregnancies and lowering the risk of getting an STD or HIV. However, these contraceptives are often abused by the younger generation who see contraceptives as an enabler for promiscuity (as mydigitalpoint explained). But it is always better to have these available than to have to get through life without any sort of protection. And I believe that even if the young ones didn't have them, some would still be as sexually active as they are now.
