RE: FTP Client of choice?
I use Filezilla or Fireftp when I'm feeling lazy.

RE: FTP Client of choice?
I use both filezilla and smartftp (mainly smartftp)
sometimes when smartftp not working, the filezilla may work fine and vice versa

Huh, I would recommend you to try lftp instead. lftp offers a lot of benefits over the old netkit-ftp:
  1. The commands of lftp are almost the same with netkit-ftp;
  2. Native SFTP support, together with FXP, FTPS, HTTP(S), and WebDav, IPv6 support;
  3. Background jobs;
  4. Bookmark support;
  5. Scheduling support;
  6. Scripting support;
  7. Native mirroring support;
  8. netkit-ftp was last updated 10 years ago (July 8, 2000)...
Of course, if you are following Worse is better logic, it's another thing... :)

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

RE: FTP Client of choice?
Filezilla hands down. Definitely the best, fastest and easiest to use.
