RE: is .tk good? - Ruko - 08-05-2011 Neither. Did you know that co.cc got banned from Google? And also, .tk has a bad reputation from what I heard. So, I would stick with a real domain than using those two. Otherwise, then use something like uni.cc RE: is .tk good? - ErrorCode - 08-06-2011 I mean it looks better than a lot of other stock domain names, like the ones that come with free forum hosting and whatnot. It's better to just buy an official domain. A lot of domain providers are very cheap these days. RE: is .tk good? - zZJoennZz - 08-09-2011 .tk is better if you compare to .co.cc or other something like that, and co.cc is banned from google. RE: is .tk good? - MustangV10 - 09-02-2011 All free domain extensions are terrible in my opinion. You usually get: - Limited DNS control / bad control panel. - Bad support. - Black listed from sites (such as co.cc on Google) - Potential customers being turned away due to the free extension. RE: is .tk good? - pspboy - 09-22-2011 Yes its best to buy a premium domain. If you can't afford one then you can always get one from here or use those sites that give money for surveys the name just hid in my mind anyone know the name of the site? RE: is .tk good? - Himbo - 10-01-2011 .tk's are fine for personal, but professional not. RE: is .tk good? - viji4ever - 10-13-2011 In my view .tk is good, i am using it last 2 years... RE: is .tk good? - trainhappy - 10-18-2011 Yes, .tk is good. As a .tk partner, I can register .tk domains for free with no requirements. RE: is .tk good? - MyDigitalpoint - 10-19-2011 Sure, no requirements stated in their terms, but strings attached though. Like I said before, they don't longer require a link back nor popup advertising like they used to do in the past, but they steal part of your traffic so the more domains you register, the more traffic they get from you. It's at random times when TK domains don't go to the websites they were registered for, but to a landing page inviting people to join TK. Happened to me registering 5 domains a few months ago. On the other hand, UNI.cc domains seems to be history now, the main website is down since several weeks ago and therefore no uni.cc domain is working now. RE: is .tk good? - MustangV10 - 10-22-2011 Lol, the other day they suspended an old TK domain I had for no reason. Love it <3 |
