I agree. They started to go download with the Minutes to Midnight album. I really hoped they would do a better job with Thousand Suns, but no.

I really hope a lot of you guys were joking, some of those artists made me cringe.

As for my favourite artists, I rarely listen to solo performers. I prefer to listen to bands, my favourite ones are Asobi Seksu, Gogol Bordello, The Hives and Andrew Jackson Jihad.
