Tips to populate your forums
So I think we should discuss some methods of populating a site/forum. I've picked up a couple along the way.
Content, content, content! Some good content is key, and new content is essential. If guests see new content being posted and nobody's replying, they WILL take the initiative! No dead forums! Don't make categories that have no interest. For example, if you're running a forum about cars, don't make a forum about Physics. The topics people can discuss is yes, very cool in your mind, but at the end of the day nobody's going to do it. |
