I wanted to talk with you about a pretty impressive thing. It's called lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreams/ dreaming:

Quote:A lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. The term was coined by the Dutch psychiatrist and writer Frederik (Willem) van Eeden (1860–1932). In a lucid dream, the dreamer may be able to exert some degree of control over their participation within the dream or be able to manipulate their imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can be realistic and vivid. It is shown that there are higher amounts of beta-1 frequency band (13–19 Hz) experienced by lucid dreamers, hence there is an increased amount of activity in the parietal lobes making lucid dreaming a conscious process.

Lucid dreaming has been researched scientifically, and its existence is well established.

Oh I forgot the crop circles. Lots of crop circles have showed up and if it's not aliens then who? I don't think that anything human made could make these with such precision and fast time.]]>

Some of you might have seen the black/white version of the award winning photography of a Vietnamese monk (Lâm Văn Tức) by Malcolm Browne.

It was from back in the days when the Vietnam war was raging. The then seated and U.S. supported Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem (which himself was Catholic) had been making some reforms which allowed for prosecution of Buddhist Monks. - This of course made a lot of Buddhists rise and protest against the regime, eventually culminating with the symbolic self-immolation of Lâm Văn Tức, who while burning never moved a muscle or uttered a sound. - The picture then arrived at Kennedy's desk, which at some point was heard making the following remark: "Jesus Christ … This sort of thing has got to stop", which marked the beginning of the end, of the of American support for the Ngo Dinh Diem regime.

The colored version of the original was colored by the reddit user mygrapefruit and took around 4 hours.

As the title asks, do you find the robot kid scary or cute?

IMO, the teeth makes it scary. I can't help thinking about the aliens from the old movie Mars Attacks with Jack Nicholson (which was awesome).
