Yousabletube is my all time favorite and is a script for Greasemonkey which is available for Firefox, Chrome and Opera meaning it will work on all three.

It gives you plenty of options to tweak your Youtube experience such as automatic switching to the video quality of your choice (for the main site and embedded videos), auto expanding the video, disabling autoplay, changing the size of the youtube player itself (allowing you to watch in sizes beyond the maximum Youtube normally allows) and disabling ads and annotations.

It also gives you a convenient drop down list of download links for each video meaning you no longer have to use external sites, add-ons or programs to download Youtube videos to your computer.

Installing is as simple as installing the Greasemonkey add-on, restarting your browser and clicking 'Install' on the script's page. The configuration menu can be accessed underneath every Youtube video on the main site.]]>
