More than seeming to be a trusted source what truly matters, such a standpoint look like blacklisting to force people to use only Google products.

Probably another of their great strategies towards world domination as the biggest monopoly on earth.

When I said SEO tools, I mostly meant the one's that adapt your site in a way to 'improve SEO' or to spam your site to other sites or submit you to a massive amount of search engine's as well as businesses that do these things. I hope that clarifies my post a bit.

Google Analytics was just a example, btw. Having a tracker on your site shouldn't be a problem, but just make sure the tracker is of a trusted source, because they could be using the information for other purposes.
