New Dedicated Ip
I felt generous today after having issues with a phisher on our server. Today all accounts under our primary IP which all of the clients use was nullrouted. Nullrouted is a fancy word for directing all traffic to an ip which will time out, known as a blackhole. This caused a false downtime even though the server was up. I have decided today to give NiftyHost a dedicated ip address, meaning they are the only ones using it. This means that if the hosting server gets nullrouted for a short period of time like today the forum will still be up to provide answers.
