I need the specs of your os and browser you are using. Sounds like your computer has issues

RE: File Manager - Zach - 12-20-2010

Set the file permissions to 755.

RE: File Manager - Mone - 12-20-2010

i use Google Chrome windows xp , it was working fine then it just stopped i logged out and everything and still wont work

RE: File Manager - mghq - 12-20-2010

Zack he is having issues with the editor not loading. Not issues with saving.

I will investigate once I get home

RE: File Manager - Zach - 12-20-2010

He might have somehow removed read permissions, you never know. Dont quibble.

RE: File Manager - Mone - 12-21-2010

works in Firefox but not chrome

RE: File Manager - mghq - 12-21-2010

Ok as i stated before zack I know cPanel issues and it was a browser related issue. So begin debugging based on the files cPanel uses. Shadow I will let Zack, the all knowing, help you seeing as I, the server admin, knows nothing and was completely wrong from the start.

Excuse my rant

Why don't you just use Firefox, then?

If you absolutely have to use Chrome then, have you tried:
  • Deactiving possible plugins
  • See if javascripts is deactivated
  • Try to clean up browsing date (sessions, cookies etc.)

If everything fails, then you can try resetting Chrome to default configuration: http://www.windowsvalley.com/reset-google-chrome-to-default-configuration-without-re-installation/
