You can use wordpress to transform the blogging platform to a CMS
I have used Buddypress for creating my community website...Really simple to understand and much more features and all that free of cost...

I have try it, and I love it too.
But you need to configure it again, modify it as you will, sometimes manually by editing the .php file but I love it, because we can be very creative on making our own community website..:D

Yeah wordpress is the best i've also been using buddypress the bad thing about it is it doesn't comes with allot of nice templates.

If Drupal wasn't so confusing I would use it, that's the management system my school uses .

I use Joomla, because its award-winning, and has thousands of plugins!
I'm gonna try wordpress, I noticed it loads faster!
