You don't need a radio tower for cell phones. Plus there could be more technologies in the future? Walkie talkies already exist lol. Maybe they have a spaceship? Haha.

They might not know it existed, or maybe they wanted us to see that. (Plus we don't really have that much information on them, they might care less.)
But one other possibility is Parallel Universes (an unlimited number of them and a new one spawns off every time you make a fleeting thought) meaning that if they did go back in time to change the past they would only change their future, and not ours, because ours already happened.
Like if you went back in time to stop your dad from getting married and accidentally killed him, you would cease to exist, but then who killed your father?

Maybe it's a little hard to explain, cuz there's many opinion about it..
But I think it's cool being a time traveler, although, maybe it's a rather impossible to go on time easily and also, if we can go back in time, the future will change a bit and it will affect the life cycle..some kind of butterfly effect...CMIIW...:D

He claimed to have time travelled in 2000-2001 from the future and claims to be a military man, who travelled back to 1976 or so to fix an IBM to prevent Y2K ( he claims Y2K happened in his time ), and also predicted the civil unrest in US and lotsa stuff ( some that failed ), however, since we live in one of the limitless parallel universes, we might be 1-4 % deviated from his timeline..

I have also read something about John Titor. If he was fake he really put time and dedication into his little story.
Time machine is such a gadget I would absolutely want to try if someone invented it. Imagine the possibilities.
But... If time machine was already invented for example in the year 2500, why don't we meet any people from that era?
