I use FileZilla. Easy-to-use, and it gets the job done.

i think filezilla is much fast and easy to use than smartftp. and you can get many modified versions of filezilla. :D so it is the ftp client of my choice :D

When I've needed it, I've used Filezila

lftp, I generally use. It's a "sophisticated", confusing, powerful, a command-line (scary :D) Unix/Linux-only FTP/FTPS/SFTP/HTTP/HTTPS client.

Well, there isn't much to introduce about it. You should ask man (the command) instead of me if you meet any issues.
The reason I love it is it's super-lightweight. (Of course, no more GTK+/Qt libraries needed.)

I`m using Fillezilla :) I`ll give a try to SmartFTP too ~~

RE: FTP Client of choice? - khy - 07-13-2010

I use both smartftp 3.0 and filezilla 3.2.7.1

not the newest version is the best one
I think the speed is more important

and not all files can be upload via filezilla as it can not process high-bit characters but smartftp can
