Video Games and how I grew out of them - Diamons - 04-12-2010 So I was always a poor child. Poor poor child. Moving homes left and right, never staying in one place too long. I could never afford games. They were always expensive, so I wanted them really bad. And when I would buy one, it would be so exciting that moment when I unwrapped the packaging and pulled out the cartridge/disk. So now I'm 16 and I've grown up. In today's world, if you have to pay for it, there's a way to get it for free. My mistake was learning that. Then, I got a Wii. Biggest mistake of my life btw. Long story short, $50 per disk was just so expensive! Me being the cheap child I was, could not afford to pay for it. I softmodded my Wii. You should've seen the look on my face; it was priceless. I was like a child with a box of candy on Halloween. My grin was 2 inches long no lie. I blazed through the internet, downloading game after game. I burned game after game. Then, I got bored. Never played a single one I downloaded. Just a waste of DVDs. RE: Video Games and how I grew out of them - Vanilla - 04-12-2010 Sad, but erh...You seriously don't play games anymore or...? RE: Video Games and how I grew out of them - Zach - 04-13-2010 Diamons: Not sure if this was the intended response, but I laughed. I too softmodded my Wii, but I don't pirate games for it. And I also rarely play any video games for recreation anymore. I might pick up SSB Brawl or GTA every once in a while, but it's meh. RE: Video Games and how I grew out of them - manikertamang - 09-23-2010 Hey sad to hear about you..... Why do you buy a games instrument if you are poor and can't afford the DVDs to play. I hope you have computer, isn't it? Then why don't you play games in your PC, you can even download free games and play till you get bore than delete it. I am also a game crazy and don't have any video games to play so I use PC to play games.
