Although the PS3's x360 key Cell processor is capable of producing twice the amount of gigaflops than the X360's Xenon processor, the Cell's environment makes it very inflexible and hard to make decent use of all this with the current industry standards within graphics, whilst the X360's GPU is slightly superior to that of the PS3.

By now, I prefer neither and thus own neither, but if you'd asked me before the infinitely stupid PS Jailbreak 3.21 update, I would definitely have said PS3 by a long mile, solely because of it's OtherOS feature, which would have enabled me to run Linux on it.

Although from a gamers and developers perspective, the Xbox 360 environment is definitely the best and most flexible.

But as always, In my opinion: A Good PC > X360 & PS3.
