RE: iPod touch - Matt - 07-29-2010 Khy, that's not exactly correct. iPod Classic runs on a hard drive (similar to what you might see in a desktop computer these days), and tends to be much less reliable as the read/write rate is slow and the stupid OS demands high speeds. iPod touch however, runs on a flash drive, similar to what you might see on a camera .This flash memory is much thinner, more protected, and much more reliable.
