I'm working on a theme specifically for these forums. Right now, it's basically just a wrapped version of MyBB's default theme inside our primary website theme. It can change, though. Go into User CP and change your theme to NiftyHost. Tell me what you think.

To me it doesn't look like there's much going on within the theme and that color of gray (text) on the background is hideous. Sorry :\

NiftyHost.us logo & Live Chat background color. That gray on this darker shade of gray background does not go well, and neither does the puke-yellow-green mic=/=gray xD
Also, it looks like a non customized/default board skin aside from the background color & the header images.
Anyways, please don't take the criticism above to heart as I've been overly harsh in getting my point across with this subject heh -- don't take it personal.

A muted white is preferable. Not extremely bright as to offset the gray, but bright enough to provide a clear contrast.
