I recently purchased an Xbox 360 with GTA IV, and it lasted me for a few weeks. I greatly enjoyed playing through both IV and it's DLC, The Lost and Damned. I am currently playing through the other downloadable mission pack, The Ballad of Gay Tony, and having a great time. What should I play next, though? I am looking for something with lots of things to do outside the main storyline and preferably a large, detailed open space to mess around in.
Well, If you liked GTA IV, you would probably like Saints Row 2 too. It's in the same league as GTA, albeit a bit more focused on action than realism. The concept is the same, but I would say Saints Row 2 was a bit more violent, but with more customizable things (cars, characters, etc.).

I've heard Dragon Age: Origins is a nice open-world game as well, but I haven't tried it tho'.
Saints Row? I have heard about that, I have read that it is a close clone of GTA: San Andreas. But I loved SA, therefore I will check it out. Thanks, Vanilla. How big is the environment in Saints Row?
Quite big I would say (Saints Row 2). Not as large as San Andreas, but if i remember correctly, it should be a just a tad larger than GTA IV. At least large enough that the planes and helicopters makes sense. There is a lot of funny mini-games inside the game, such as insurance fraud where you have to jump in front of cars and get hit, as well as base jumping. You can also pimp your car to a much larger degree than you could in GTA SA.
Assisians Creed looks about right..
Yeah GTA IV is great, Mafia 2 is kinda like it. Really open world but not too much to do though in Mafia 2.
Yep, I can also second Mafia 2 - Just didn't knew it came to Xbox 360 also.

Well, I went ahead and did it. I got Saints Row 2, and I am having great fun with it. For some reason, it reminds me of Vice City more than San Andreas as far as gameplay mechanics go. Even though it isn't quite what I expected, I am having loads of fun with the minigames and such. Thanks, Vanilla. :)
No problem ;)
