Some of you probably already know it, but I haven't seen it proclaimed in here, and I can really recommend it if you are the type who sits all night and designs and code your own templates.

Anyway, the 960 Grid System is a set of templates that makes it easier to both design and code your layout into CSS. It's centered around a max width of 960, because it's easily dividable into 12, 16 or 24 columns and thus you don't have to calculate all kinds of fuzzy widths when you code your CSS.

The templates are available for industry standard apps, such as Photoshop, GIMP, Flash, Ink scape, Illustrator and even PDF sheets.

Almost everything is hard in the start, but with experience comes great possibilities. - I mean, learning to bicycle wasn't easy either, but worth it? :)
