Has anyone pre-registered free domains at dotfree.com? I registered 20 yesterday. It seemed like almost every one I wanted was available. I don't know if this is legit or not? They're going to launch sometime in 2013. (.free)

What do you guys think - is this worth your time - is it legit?

Aren't most of the domains mentioned on this thread just subdomains (co.cc, cx.cz, etc.)?

Noob here, please help.
If .free does get approved, congratulations, you just got 20 free domains. If .free doesn't get approved, you've wasted about twenty minutes of your time. Oh well.
co.cc, cz.cc, and cx.cz are subdomains, but they're very short subdomains and they don't look too bad for the beginner. Which looks better to you? mysite.cx.cz or mysite.niftyhost.info?
I heared that ICANN already refused to approve .free domains and they will do it again, probably.
Link?
According to the ICANN wiki .free is in "proposed" status.

I don't have any link, it was a discussion on FreeVPS.us where I'm a moderator.

What I meant was that ICANN once refused to approve .free and since that they changed their launch event to 2013, and I'm not sure if this will stay so when it comes to the time.
yeah, but still do not understand why ICANN refused to approve .free
Several people can pre-order the same domains, only some certain domains will be made paid (big company names like disney.free (example)).

And the people who want to get .free up need a big budget to keep up with the others. 180.000 a year or month I heared.
