Cz.cc has ridiculous amounts of downtime that can be devastating to a popular site.
Dot.tk requires that you get a certain amount of visitors, and they seem very trigger-happy when it comes to cancelling domains and holding them for ransom.
FreeDNS is a ghost town, and the domains under it (us.to, vr.lt, etc.) have no guarantee that they will be renewed to prevent the loss of thousands of domains. Also, you can properly register only two and a half domains per free account.

Hm, I never thought of it that way. Buying your own domain is the most effective.

The best is .tk ,i think.

I also used .tk in my websites.

Something makes me wonder about some of these subdomain sites. What I wonder is why some people's websites randomly change over to there ad parked pages so I began not to trust them.

co.cc is the best. ;)

i like .tk but i use freedns now. they have so many options!

If your going to buy a domain just go through godaddy.com They're the most reliable and have a great rep.
