I might be alone in saying this but for many years, I have been really saddened by all the computer animation that is used in films.
I feel that it cheapens the film and makes it have no substance and strength. (I can't think of a word to best describe it.) maybe weak or empty, i don't know.

For example the easiest to notice.
Starwars the last three movies, compared to the first three.

I wish movie film produces would go back to the time of animatronics and puppets.

I guess I will have to get used to the cheaper times.

What are some good puppet movies?
I think its how you use technology. Correctly used, CGI can really make a movie looks cool! Films would look cheap if they use some cheap CGI :P

Something like a two edge sword, it cuts both way :)
I think CGI is awesome, its just.. the plot/storyline/actors in the CGI might suck.. you cant deny that with a great script, the story would be great anyway. Think LoTR, Avatar
CGI is a means,Story is the core.
CGI is soooo damn realistic nowadays, but storyline and plot weighs more
