Eset Nod32 and Kaspersky is definitely the way.
I use to use Kapersky till it expired, Im now with Microsoft Security Essentials and both have succesfully kept my PC clean for 1.5 years :), so thumbs up to both.
Kapersky has loads of functions while MSE is simple, light but also very good and keeps my PC clean =).
IMO, your PC is clean as long as you dont open spam from messengers, emails, or visit those naughty sites ;)

kaspersky caused trouble after failed clean trojan , that make my pc to be reinstalled :(
