I was shocked when i first saw this. I didnt believe that html5 was so powerful. It is just a simple video with interactivity in it. You just need to enter your address and it will make a movie on the based on your location. Using google street view and google maps api, this application makes a great interactive video. This is a must check for any programming fans. Here is the link ---> http://thewildernessdowntown.com [And for best results , view it in Google Chrome]. And dont forget to leave replies here. :)
Looks cool :)
I like the clever use of canvas along with the integration of google maps/street view.

I didn't quite get what it was trying to tell tho'. All I saw was some pictures of a man running, along with some street views of my childhood area.

But fine, nonetheless.
Man, just can't wait until HTML5! :P
that may be a good thing on chrome however chrome is eating huge RAMS at all
html5 is going to be awesome as heck to learn! :)
I agree, but I hope it doesn't use more memory than javascript.
(Or I wouldn't use it, I guess)
thx i like it.
Future is here ;)
Can any one provide the name of some HTML 5 books ?
Thanks in advance.......
I'm using Chrome and it's taking ages to load.

However after a few centuries of waiting time, I can see nothing because it says there are not enough street views about my location to build anything.

I have tried all, from my own real location, fictional location and even popular locations like Seattle, Washington, but it keep saying the same :(
