Well I doubt google would ever go offline again, unless the internet itself caved in, because they are running google on somany backup servers i doubt all of them would go down the same time or maybe even if the power went down for a moment i'm sure they have backup generator/s now aswell.

Ever heard of a ddos? The problem is every network has it's own weak points.
Even if you have millions of servers, if they attack the main router nobody can access them.
Google will have downtime again, it's inevitable..
Yes, shame on Google for being down for 8 minutes, lol.
8 minutes in 3 years, that's pretty dang good, actually that's probably the best out there.
Yes only 8 minutes in 3 years, and it's such a big deal. *says sarcastically*
@tigret, yepp a while back..
It's more perfect then any other site.. prove me wrong..
I've never really seen Google down, but It's quite often I find Youtube being offline with a 500 server error, I can't helping but lolling a little at the good old qoute: "A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation." - I think it's nice style Cool

I wonder whether Google show a similar funny message? :)
