is a url shortener allowed? the links only take up 4kb each
im guessing you would be allowed i dont see why not..

you should wait for someone who knows what there saying
or you could read through the Terms Of Service ;)
but if no one answers ...
I'm not an admin, but if it's on par with the Terms of Service, and doesn't overuse the storage space, and actually works, I see no obstruction to, why it shouldn't be ok.
i asked zack he said its not allowed because if people use the links to spam people in e-mails they could be fined because the url has n1fty.com in it... i need to buy a domain lol

In that case, I suppose it's a rule listed in the ToS then.
i didnt see it but zack should add it if its not there
zavoo you dont need to buy a domain, you can get a free .tk or many others that are available in the internet. just google for 'free domain' :D that should do the job
