i just found this site called myfavs at
http://myfav.es/ on that site you can choose a bunch of book marks to put on their homepage (a custom page only you can see) and if you set it as your homepage all the changes you made stay that way until you clear your cookies

I don't like it for two reasons:
1) If I lose my cookies it's reset.
2) If I switch pc's its not there.
Reminds me of the Opera speed dial screen, pretty cool.
