how can i get an irc chat like niftyhost for live support?

First you need to log in to irc.lightirc.com

Then you should register your nickname using

Quote:/msg nickserv register password e-mail

Then you should join the irc channel you want to register, such as #zavoo

Then you should register your irc channel using

Quote:/msg chanserv register #zavoo

Then if you want to add a irc applet to your website go to http://www.lightirc.com/iframe.html

And where it says "Channel:" put #zavoo

And you're all done! :)

o cool! is there anyway i can put it in a subdomain?

Sure, just create a subdomain through cPanel and put it there.

Ok here is the step by step guide: [Maybe A Bit Messy :P ]

First Get Firefox If You Don't Have It From http://getfirefox.com

Then Get ChatZilla From https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16/

Then Go To irc://irc.lightirc.com on your firefox and chatzilla will do the rest.

Then Type

Quote:/msg nickserv register [somepasswordherewithoutbrackets] [youremailherewithoutbrackets]

Press Enter


Type

Quote:/join [yourchannel'snamewithoutbrackets]

Press Enter


Type

Quote:/msg chanserv register #[samechannel'snameasabove]

Press Enter


Then Your Channel

Quote:#[samechannel'snameasabove]

Will Be Created :D
