Specifically, is anyone here familiar with AccountLab?

I want to set up private label hosting with account management, domain searching and registration on my site.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. :D

Yes, that is the software. However there are other solutions that are easy to manage.

Some can be found inside Softaculous software, and some other in SourceForge, just run a query form "hosting" and set the filter to PHP.

I can't remember the name, but I downloaded from there a good reseller package with integrated Paypal gateway.

You could try using TheHostingTool with some modifications. It's all very shiny and AJAX-y. Easy to customize as well.

BoxBilling looks darn awesome to be honest but it is not so functional (not much functions and features).
