It's possible to let chickens life without dying from overgrowth and still kill them to eat them, offcourse, I'm against the idea of killing chickens in the first place, but I don't decide for others what they do or do not eat, but if you do kill them to eat them, then atleast give them some respect by knowing what you eat and letting them life in a proper enviroment, not in small boxes and without chopping bodyparts off.
So in short: I think that they shouldn't be in small boxes or be overfed in the first place. Since I believe they have the right to have a proper living enviroment, even (especially) if you're going to eat them, adventually.
