Is anyone still registering dot NAME domains?
Being a generic top level domain, was supposedly released to represent names, surnames, nicknames or any name given identity to an organization or person.
I used to register many of them when this extension was operated by the Global Name Registry, which originally made them available as a third level domain, so I got a name in the form of xxx.xxx.name
However in 2009, Verisign took the operation of these domains and I have seen a decreased popularity since.
Or what do you think about it?
Is still worth registering NAME domains?
