To my great despair, I saw that this forum section was empty. So I decided to inflate it, with my Very Nice Glowing Lines! - Tip! :)
These lines doesn't only glow, but they also fade at the ends, which makes em' look extra good :P

I usually make my tutorials for the GIMP users too, but GIMP isn't quite capable of simulating pressure the way Photoshop is. The simulated pressure function is currently planned and under development in GIMP. So, whenever the functions become available to GIMP, a tutorial will of course be made :)

Funny, you mention it, I was actually right about to make a GIMP tutorial. :)
GIMP has had a "pressure" option on their tools for quite a while. When did you write this?

Well, I made it when GIMP was at an early version of 2.6.x, but I read something about the brush dynamics being broken in that version, but the current version (2.6.11) still has some inadequate brush dynamics, but the upcoming 2.8 is supposed to have vastly improved brush dynamics, and I due to be released soon (it's currently being finalized).

Anyway, even though the current version of GIMP has some inadequate brush dynamics (compared to photoshop), I should still be able to emulate the same stuff in GIMP (now when the stuff ain't broken), and I'll post it the GIMP tut soon ;)
Alright. I've used pressure stuff occasionally, and it seems to work pretty well.
i think the glowing lines could have been more "glowy"

Yeah they could - But that wasn't the point with this tutorial. It was just to show a way to achieve this.
wow nice one thanks....... it will be useful to me as i am a designer
Looking pretty good. I like that design. :) Will use it next time I do things with graphics! Thanks. :)
